The MHF Covid -19 Immigrant Family Relief Fund provided grants of $250 for immigrants in San Diego County who have lost all or part of their income due to the coronavirus pandemic. Some immigrant workers are ineligible for certain federal and state benefits such as unemployment and food stamps. It was our goal to help the community members who most need these services. We raised a total of $41,500 and wrote $250 checks for 166 local immigrant families who were in need of this financial assistance. Thank you to everyone who donated and applied. We will update this page when more funds become available.
